Let's Put $$$ in Ben "Smooth" Henderson's Pocket
The world of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is becoming more mainstream and thus more complex on a business level. An athlete needs to treat himself like a corporation if he or she wants to maximize revenue potential. The only way to do that is through a specific, well thought out and properly implemented marketing strategy.
So what can we do to help? Help us promote his store, a fighters can make an extra 500 a month from sales, Ben makes 15% of everything sold from the store. Help promote the site and we as fans will be helping Ben. We all know that Ben is a different kind of champ and he won't just rep anyone "death and skulls" isn't his style. So we need to keep our eyes open for sponsorship that is more Smooth's style. Its no secret that Ben is a spiritual man so that would be a good start. The best way to make Ben a ton of $ is to get members on this site and other site to become members of smoothben.com, followers on twitter and myspace, etc. lets be the aggressor and help our champ get the most exposed he can get. Remember that it takes money for a fighter to train and eat well and sponsorship is a big help but we as fans could chip in also. If you come across anything send it to Ben's manager Jason Genet right here on smoothben. Last but not least some prayer never hurt anyone.

If you some drawings or sketches, I can have our graphic arts dept. put them into the computer so you have a professional looking design.

I was think we could have a few dozens and put them up for auction on ebay and see what Ben wants to do with the $$$. Its all about the fan something our love for the champ. - Let's try to get something done. It really all come downs to the price and how much we can come up with for the shirts. Maybe we could use the money from ebay towards the shirts. I'm willing to put up cash but how much is the question. If you could find out then we could go from there. Thank for your help Bill. We both are big Smooth Fans and just want the best for him. I will contact him about the ebay and see if he is willing to help us out.

Ben probably be more into thaqt if the proceeds went to charity.

- Sounds good Bill. Who is the artists? Will he work we us as a fan (Price)? Maybe we can get Ben to wear it in a fight. We could always add his sponsors to it then place it on the web for sell. Also was thinking of placing an item on ebay to make some extra money for him. Maybe a Glove or shorts etc. What do you thing?

- I have it an idea we have any artists on Smoothben that can design a shirt? then we can send it to a t shirt place to have made. On another note the more traffic Hits smoothben has creates add revenue this can actually surpass the store revenue if there are enough unique traffic.

unfortunately there isn't anything out with Smooth's name or pic on it just yet! The best way to support him know is to buy something from the MMA store on this site. MTX is a sponsor of Ben so that's good way to show some love. Believe me I have been looking around for a shirt with Ben's name I'm sure it won't be long.
I'm just a fan and do what I can to help out the Champ. Its not much but I do try he is a great person I'll do this for free.
